Conference Activity: INFORMS, Joint Mathematics Meetings

INFORMS 2011 is going on right now. I am not there this year to track the sustainability & OR activity but there is plenty listed in the program. In addition, the ENRE cluster chair Ramteen Sioshansi assembled a list of the energy sessions (pdf). You can also check out the twitter feed (hashtag #informs2011).

The Joint Mathematics Meetings are coming up on January 4-7, 2012 in Boston. They include sessions on Climate Change and Sustainability, organized by Mary Lou Zeeman and Chris Danforth. Chris is also one of the speakers, and having been in graduate school with Chris I would highly recommend attending one of his talks.
